How It Works
StriveCast builds a dynamically growing distributed delivery network between all connected devices that are streaming your video content. Because each device streams the same content at the same time, there is a great opportunity for all these devices to share their data, thus saving a lot of bandwidth and increasing network reliability.
StriveCast provides an easy integration process for web platforms and native apps. Add only a single line of code to your project. There is no need for infrastructure changes or complicated integration processes.
Every device will be assigned to a cluster in order to share data. These clusters have a maximum size of 10 devices to ensure minimum overhead and perfectly balanced network performance. If new users are joining, new clusters will be created, ensuring unlimited network scalability.
If devices have trouble sending or receiving data from other peers, StriveCast OTT automatically detects this and instantly switches from P2P to the underlying CDN. This ensures that no device will ever experience additional delay or rebuffering due to StriveCast OTT.
